Friday, March 31st, 2017. Photos of Ben and River hanging out in the living room.

Thursday, March 30th, 2017. Amy and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary two days late this year to coincide with her day off from work.  We enjoyed a nice lunch at the Living Room in Pilot Mt and dessert on Main Street in Mount Airy followed by a movie at the house.
Tuesday, March 28th, 2017. With plans to celebrate our anniversary a couple of days late this year, I went on a group bike ride.

Monday, March 27th, 2017. Ben played on the golf team this Spring. I don't know how much he enjoyed it, but it was something new to try.
Sunday, March 25th, 2017. A few photos from an indoor soccer game in Westfield. More photos here.

Saturday, March 18th, 2017. Ben played in a couple of 14U friendly matches in Lambsburg, Virginia.  More photos  here. .

Friday, March 17th, 2017. Jackson is working three jobs, coaching a RCC U14 soccer team, working out and taking a full AP course load this semester.

Saturday, March 4th, 2017.  A heartbreaker of a loss in the Western Finals against Lincoln Charter.  This one will be tough for the players and fans to get over.  The Bears led for most of the game and I believe they were the better team, but the season is over.  Alan and Charla drove three hours to watch the game and we enjoyed their company.  Other than the final outcome, it was a great game to watch.  They joined us for dinner afterwards before heading back to Virginia.

Ben played an 8AM game on a frosty field in Statesville with his PSA 16U travel soccer team.  I am super disappointed that his 14U team was folded into the 16U team, but we have friends on the 16U team and will make the most of it.  We drove home after the game, then returned for a 3:30 game.  From there it was a mad dash to Winston-Salem to watch Jackson's team play.  (more soccer photos here)

Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 - Four area teams are in the state semi-finals, which is unprecedented.  The four teams came together for a quick photo op to document the event. I rode up in a lift to capture the photo below.
