This 80 mile loop is interesting because it contains one of my favorite roads and one of my least favorite.  The ten mile stretch of Snake Creek Road provides some of the most scenic, fun riding you'll find.  While 89 through Low Gap is full of construction, road debris, traffic, and speeding tractor trailers.  The parkway run is great, but I would maybe cut it short and head back to Mount Airy on Pipers Gap Road rather than going all the way to 89.

The black stop signs represent good places to refuel and take a break from the road.
